Who is Polysh Latex Care

Greetings and salutations! My name is Heidi and I'm the engineer behind Polysh Latex Care products.

First, thank you so much for checking out my line of products. I know that there are other latex care products on the market that you have to choose from and that you have probably even used before. But you're here looking for something new and I think that's pretty cool.

So let me start by telling you a little bit about myself:

  • I have been sporting latex gear since the age of 23
  • I have a bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering, and I've decided to use those powers for evil *mwahaha*
  • In my free time, I love building costumes, props and set pieces for Halloween
  • My favorite movie is Hot Rod
  • I can't resist making bulleted lists

I started dreaming up my own brand of latex care products during the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic. With all the extra time at home, I found myself wearing latex clothing more frequently. What else is there to do besides prance around and take photos of my shiny self? Because of that, I kept finding myself running low on rubber shiner and dressing aid - all. of. the. time. And every time I refreshed my supply, I felt like I was paying an arm and a leg. To make matters worse, those products almost always came from Europe where shipping costs meant an extra $10 or more. This isn't a unique issue either as it's the most common complaint I hear about latex shiner and dressing aid from other latex lovers.

I'm a problem solver at heart, so I got to work creating my US-based latex care product line, Polysh. I believe that there are many more latex enthusiasts in the US than commonly believed, and I want to be providing something especially for them. Americans don't make up a majority of the latex community, but we are growing and that means that we have increasing needs on this side of the pond. One of those needs is a way of dressing that is more accessible to everyone. That is where Polysh comes in.

Of course, I can't provide for your needs if I don't know what they are, and poring over online blogs and threads can only do so much. If you have any specific thoughts or suggestions for how I can improve my products, or if you have a latex care issue that you can't find a solution for, please email me directly at polyshlatexcare@gmail.com. I look forward to hearing from you!
